Faith-Based Business

This is a page about my convictions.  We have become a country of people unwilling to voice our opinions about issues that really matter because of our concern over offending someone.  I believe if we make stronger statements and stand firm on the issues that really matter, our country and our world will be a better place.

Faith-Based Business

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." Proverbs 15:3

Our society tries too hard to separate what is perceived as the "real world" from faith and religious beliefs.  I have come to discover this is the wrong approach, and Christians in our society are staying far too quiet about what they believe is the right thing to do, the right way to treat people, the right moral convictions, and the right way to do business.  We need to stop remaining reserved and soft-spoken about such important issues.  We need to stop worrying about being so accepting and fair and considerate of alternative views.  There is indeed a right and wrong and we need to make our collective voices heard.  One way to do this is through our business practices.

Customers

Doing Business the Christian way is nothing more than treating our customers, clients, business associates, and coworkers as God would have us treat them.  We should not focus our business on financial gain.  Yes, we certainly need to make money to purchase the goods and services necessary to conduct our lives, but to focus on this aspect of business generates greed and allows Satan to drive our decisions.  God tells us he will provide for us in abundance if we walk with Him, so focus your business on treating people with kindness, generosity, and good will.  The rewards will come to you, and you will do well enough in your business.
